Gourmet lip balms, anyone?

06f5fffd-3bc4-40e2-be87-f18df71d8a3eWhen it is so friggin’ chilly outside, the only beauty essential we really need is a velvety lip balm for a soft, kissable pout. We tuck in a zillion chapsticks in our purse, throw them in our pen box, scatter them all over the dressing table and slather them on our pouts thirty times a day. This addiction, however, does little to banish those dry, crusty lips.

I recently tried the coconut-flavoured lip balm from Yves Rocher and it melted on my lips like butter, no kidding. Unlike most lip balms that dry and disappear within a minute, this lip butter stays longer, sans the sticky sensation. What’s more, the natural origin oil infusion gives you a naturally nourished pout. Eep, it’s paraffin- and paraben-free. The subtle tropical smell of coconut brings instant relief to cracked lips and is your go-to even on days when you want to keep your lips understated with a pearly sheen.

If you don’t fancy coconut, you could try other exotic flavours like the protecting Macadamia, comforting Shea, juicy Raspberry, delicious Strawberry, crunchy Cherry and gentle Vanilla.

Priced at Rs 350, the lip-smacking lip balm from Yves Rocher is available at select department stores across the country.
